falling out of grace

alenxa_classicApparently, lying on my right side makes me cough more than lying on my left. I couldn't get back to sleep after K got up this morning, which annoyed me even more because the thyroid meds require a wait of 30-60 minutes before eating anything and it only took me 20 to realize the re-sleep thing wasn't happening. If this crap continues tonight, I'm moving to the couch where I won't be keeping anyone awake and will have the option of lying propped up on my back.
Chocolate mint cookies took 1st in class at the OC Fair. Didn't win division though; somebody's fruit bars beat me out. Eh. Next year I think I'm putting the infamous snowballs up for judging.

Nina Gordon, "Horses in the City." I can't even think of listening to it without tearing up. Damn, there I go.
