AppleWorks' word counter is pretty close to the NaNo official counter: 50,116 vs 50,048. Last I'd checked the official counter, it had me at 50 words less than AW did.

I owe a lot of today's progress to kelson and family, with whom I hashed out a bunch of details last night. Without these guys I might not have figured out how to get the prostitute's horse back. (Which wouldn't have been nearly as hairy an issue if Channako hadn't been a stupid little so-and-so a few miles back, but that's just her. Oh well.)

And now I'm going to play some damned Aveyond.
