You know those memes about telling your future/past self something? I usually think of them as pretty much dren, but once in a while I'll find something that makes me think they're not entirely fluff. The original 12-year-old draft of the story I'm working on, in the top-margin white space of one page, among the pen-clearing scribbles and random doodles, has written on it two words I believe I must have penciled in later, in response to the tone of the writing: MORE WEIGHT.

I'm keeping it in mind this time around.
