sekl (if you can see it on her LJ), 5 things to tell 16-year-old me:
1. Sam is evil. Don't listen too much to him or his mom, it'll drive you nuts.
2. Start flossing and don't quit. I mean it, self.
3. Don't feel guilty about blowing off or letting go of people who keep you from moving forward, and don't let anybody else make you feel guilty about it either. Especially your parents.
4. You will, one day, be at truce with your sister. Remember that next time somebody snipes about you two bickering, but please don't ask me what it will take to bring it about. You don't want to know.
5. Your life really is as strange and wondrous as you think it is. Yes, that's unusual; no, it's not unique. It's a characteristic of the family you find, and a way to know each other. This may make no sense now, but don't worry, it'll be crystalline later.
Yup, sticking to 5. And not trying to change major history. Most of who I've turned out to be is quite all right with me, and I wouldn't want to royally frell something up that would lead to some nonsense like me dumpingkelson or moving to Bangladesh. I'd just like to be a little more comfy in my own skin, and I'm rather pathetically influenced by the past in that department, so, making with the comfort.
