creative wrighting
Feb. 16th, 2005 12:21 amOver the weekend, Puzzle Pirates acquired a shipwrighting puzzle. Accordingly, I acquired a taste and a talent for it. It has a high learning curve and is highly visual, which means it's perfect for me. After two days of sporadic puzzling, I have two Grand-Master shipwrights, which could work out very well for me. People either love or hate this puzzle, and the random observations I've made tend to lean toward the hate side. So, people who were getting free money at shipwrighting jobs before the weekend just might be quitting (or getting fired) in droves when they learn they have to actually work, meaning their jobs will be open. Even better, ships require quite a bit of work, meaning steady income if you pick the right employer. Much nicer than the hour or two here and there I get from my alchemical jobs.
I think I may have enough for a portrait or two sooner than I originally thought.

(And I finally got that monsoon - turongo map so I can go in a big circle between jet - emerald - diamond - coral and go all the way around. Too bad the captain I jobbed with that had it made me give him all the PoE I had on me for it - over 1K. Jerk.)
