This time next week, I'll be married. I'll also, with any luck, be asleep. This whole situation is taking a toll on me though. I've been hiding from email for over a week (so if anyone's been trying to mail me, I probably haven't got it), avoiding doing anything constructive and planlike, and generally curling up in a little ball since before we went on the retreat.

Hence the avatar change. (Which you can't see on my main page but frell it, I'm too wiped to edit anything now.) My mom's freaking out much worse than I am, but I feel about as optimistic as Talyn's favorite one-eyed freakazoid. I can just see us at the wedding going "Bride's side! Groom's side!"

What does a girl have to do around here to post comments with a different picture? No, seriously. I'll pay the damn $25 or whatever if that's really what it takes. If I'm listing myself as not entirely stable, I ought to look it, damn it.

If you post from the browser, you have to be a logged-in user (the second radio button choice). That gives you the dropdown of Picture to use. If you just put your username/password in as you post the entry without logging in, you can ony use the default picture. Same with commenting (which is why my comments have my defaul picture - I leave my other LJ as the logged-in user).
